ENRU

Status HUD

  • Health and armor are obvious. Food, water and stamina decide how long you can stay outside.
  • Infection is the purple indicator. It grows from bites and bad exposure, then starts to hurt if ignored.
  • Bleeding is a temporary injury. It should not be treated as “blood amount”. Use bandages or a first aid kit.

Treatment

  • Bandage is for bleeding. Antibiotics are for infection. Charcoal is for poisoning.
  • Clean water and food stabilize a run. Dirty water and rotten food can save you in panic, but may punish you after.
  • Do not wait until the screen gets bad. Treatment exists to prevent death, not just to delay it.

Death bag

  • After death, most items drop into a bag at the place you died.
  • The bag lasts 10 minutes. If you have GPS, you get a marker and timer.
  • Any player can loot the bag. If someone steals it, the owner is notified and the timer is removed.

Movement and noise

  • Guns and engines are loud. If you attract infected, leaving on foot can be safer than fighting.
  • Shelters are safe inside, but dragging a horde to the border is still dangerous for everyone outside.
  • A vehicle is useful only if it has fuel and enough condition to survive the trip.
